Super simple light pre workout breakfast snack with lots of good fat and a little bit of carbohydrate coming from the banana – tastes good, takes no time at all to make and will keep you full, fuelled for your morning hit out.
The good thing about this recipe is its flexibility – you can play with the ingredients, add some nuts, a bit more fruit, protein powder, etc depending on your taste… I’m just keeping things on the ‘fat’ side of the equation at the moment.
1/2 Ripe Banana
1/5 Can Coconut Cream
1 tbsp Raw Cacao Powder
1 tbsp Shredded Coconut
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Pink Himalayan Salt
Blueberries, (Strawberries or raspberries… come to think of it, any berries, work great as well) to Top
Very simple – mash together in a bowl and top with the blueberries 🙂 Also nice if you make the night before and chill in the fridge.
If you want it a smoother consistency you can always use a food processor… but that’s just extra washing up to deal with and no one needs that extra hassle when trying to get out the door for a brutal bike squad session!
